My name is Jamie, I’m the face behind the camera. I’m a total photo nerd and I’ve always been an art and theatre junkie.

EDUCATION & SKILLS
I graduated from Western Albemarle High School in Crozet, and then attended the University of Virginia’s College at Wise. I have extensive knowledge using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Fundamentals of Design & Business. My background in Graphic Design, Digital Imaging, Web Design and Business Administration are among the courses I’ve taken throughout my school years.

PERSONAL LIFE
OH the fun stuff! I am a mom to 3 beautiful-amazing crazy kids. They are my world and remind me how special and precious life really is. My husband is my go-to second shooter, drone operator and handles the behind the scenes of the business. I am also a licensed Realtor in Virginia and I’m passionate about doing what I love and building relationships with those I work with. Running multiple businesses isn’t for the faint of heart but you’ll find with my strong organizational skills, self-discipline and expertise, it just makes sense.

I’ve been shooting weddings since 2012, working with hundreds of unique, special couples throughout the course of my career. Nothing makes me happier than watching multiple families coming together as one to celebrate newlyweds. It’s truly an honor to share these special events with each of my clients.


 PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
I like to photograph things in a “story telling” style using my unique perspective. I would describe my photo style as bold, natural, with unique composition and of course, always fun! I get inspired by the moment and freeze time for you to cherish forever. What matters the most is that my clients feel comfortable and confident when they are in front of the camera. To achieve this, I incorporate posed and candid shots throughout your session. Be yourself!
